TEN THINGS YOU DIDNT KNOW

Okay so here's the deal. I'm bored, and want to write down some things I need to remember about my characters. But why post these where no one will see, I asked myself. So.

MEME!

RULES

1. Post with your character
2. Post ten things that you believe are true about your character - yes, go ahead and headcanon this right on up, I personally like that sort of thing.
3. observe others
4. relish information

It is very simple and fun for everyon's edification! Likewise we can learn more about new characters we have round these parts, and be happy.

1. Wasp's mind broke while he was in the Stockade, for undetermined reasons. General abuse at the servos of the guards and other prisoners, mostly.
2. Wasp is obsessed with Bumblebot to a dangerous degree. His whole life is based on it.
3. Wasp doesn't hate BUmblebee so much as stalk him these days (except Bee is gone D:)
4. Wasp hates being a Decepticon and wishes he could get out.
5. Wasp hates the Autobots too, for throwing him in the Stockade
6. Deep down, Wasp is actually a decent bot, even if he's a jerk.
7. He tries to push people away, because he believes all friends will eventually abandon him again
8. He is fiercely protective of anyboe who manages to get close to him and become his friend, to the point of being murderous in their defence.
9. He doesn't trust Optimus Prime and trusts Megatron even less.
10. Wasp despises and envies the Autobots at the same time.

LADY SUBARU

[personal profile] fakewingstofly 2009-08-05 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
1. Back in her own world, Subaru is a paraplegic with a lot of severe health issues. In Nautilus, she loves the working body she is in, finds the people very interesting, and she does not want to leave.
2. Subaru loves shojo manga. One of the people she looks up to the most is Hagio Moto, known as the founding mother of shojo manga. Oh yeah, she's a romantic.
3. The relationships she forms are based solely on the person and have nothing to do with appearance or gender.
4. Though she does not define herself as Christian, she believes strongly in God, prays to him for guidance, and holds herself to be very angelic.
5. She enjoys cooking and baking, but has not done it in so long that she is out of practice. She hopes to fix that.
6. After getting into a car accident caused by a world wide computer virus, Subaru is deathly afraid of riding in any sort of automated transportation.
7. As of this moment, she has never been kissed on the lips.
8. She does not approve of violence and does not believe it can solve anything, but she will defend herself and use her axe if needed.
9. Spending so much time with her computer as her only companion, Subaru is very skilled with computer technology and has basic hacking and programming knowledge.
10. Though she is calm and enjoys quite, stargazing, and peace, Subaru has a temper and it ignites when she is faced with things that oppose her strong morals.

WALLY

[personal profile] fastaskenyans 2009-08-05 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
1. He was actually a small town boy. And also the founder, president, and only member of the Blue Valley Nebraska Flash fanclub.
2. Out of all the ways he could die, the one he fears most is starvation.
3. He has spoken at least once to every person in his city. (Super-headcanon: Invades hospital rooms with newborn babies and suggests names for them. Was on cloud nine for 2 weeks when he found out someone used his suggestion)
4. Despite his number of acquaintances, before Nautilus he actually didn't have many friends.
5. He's not really that witty; he practices when no one is looking.
6. He takes being hated to heart.
7. He actually likes it when Jinx and Rip yell at him- he finds it amusing and somehow endearing. He would also be very disturbed if they ever stopped.
8. He likes to make most of his food from scratch.
9. He snacks on junk food while doing so.
10. He has at one point known every major language on Earth. and promptly forgotten it within the week.

MONDAY

[identity profile] lazy-mondays.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
1. Back in his own world Monday is dead. He doesn't know this yet.
2. He really is about ten thousand years old. More, even.
3. Monday regrets not having obeyed the Will at first.
4. Monday hates Saturday for several reasons, first and foremost for all the things she's done to all his other siblings.
5. He really likes tea.
6. He also really likes reading. Give him a few long books and he'll be there for hours.
7. Monday is an insomaniac.
8. Even though Denizens don't actually need to eat or drink, Monday does it anyway.
9. Monday likes overly complicated little gadgets that don't do much.
10. He makes little clockwork devices in his spare time.

MARROW

[identity profile] spinal-tapped.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 10:27 am (UTC)(link)
1. Her idol worship of Angel (later Archangel) is so encompassing that, even today, she sleeps with a handmade plush of Angel close by. The thing's been with her since she was a little girl.
2. Through willpower alone, she's gained slight control over her bone growths, able to affect a more 'visually pleasing' appearance.
3. She actually does like the home she has with the X-Men, but constantly does her damnedest to remain the black sheep of the 'family.'
4. Whatever her age is, Marrow is still a virgin. She's never even kissed anyone else.
5. Marrow has no idea whatsoever who her biological parents are/were. She has little memory to speak of before the Morlock tunnels, and considers Callisto her mother. If Callisto knows who her parents are/were, she isn't telling.
6. She really does think she could be pretty, but at the same time, feels it would betray all that she's fought for in her life.
7. Even before she started believing in Xavier's dream for human/mutant coexistence, Marrow hated Magneto and his 'mutants are superior' doctrine. Magneto, unlike the X-Men, never even once attempted to help the Morlocks, the most downtrodden of mutants.
8. She has a big-sister-complex that doesn't show often. It stems from the sense of family that the Morlocks had, before she was forced into a life of 'kill-or-be-killed.'
9. She has a very mild case of hemophilia, or maybe more like hematophagy.
10. One thing Marrow takes great pride in is her hair. She specifically focused on keeping bones from growing through her scalp to allow her hair to grow fully, and keeps it well-maintained. Even when she wore it in dreadlocks, they were properly cleaned.

[identity profile] lady-adventure.livejournal.com 2009-08-05 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
1. Lara cares deeply about what people think of her. She wants people to like her and what she does.
2. Lara was orphaned at 15, but doesn't let that hold her back or define her.
3. Lara is scared of many, many things, but won't let people know.
4. Lara thinks she's slowly becoming a monster over the things she's done in her life.
5. Although she "likes being alone," she actually really likes being around people who are "different".
6. She has many other skills besides ones required for her hobbies, including playing piano and violin, and horseback riding.
7. She never swears. Ever. She finds it vulgar and repulsive.
8. She is an 11th Generation Countess, and holds that title to the highest regard.
9. Lara is 30 years old, and is in fact a virgin. She won't lose it until she gets married.
10. It was once her mission in life to find Avalon, but after discovering it, and realizing what it was, she's lost some of her hope.

Paradox

[identity profile] lifeineternity.livejournal.com 2009-08-06 05:31 am (UTC)(link)
1. He began serious work on his project after WWII; he believed he could actually go back and prevent it from happening.
2. Despite now knowing he can't do that without seriously affecting and possibly damaging the time stream, he still feels guilty about it.
3. While he's quite capable of finding out his name, he has no interest in doing so.
4. He actually preferred thinking the accident was his own fault to knowing that his assistant Hugo did it.
5. He likes puzzles, and especially likes to try and solve them first.
6. The tea everyone got? Is the first food or drink he's had in millenia. He quite enjoyed it.
7. He used to take gumballs with him to the base and give them to his lab assistants and random soldiers.
8. He likes to walk in the white space just outside the city; the emptiness is familiar and it's a good place to think.
9. He misses time travel, but has stopped attempts at it since the time slip event.
10. Albert Einstein was his inspiration to study physics.

Fury

[identity profile] leatherandmail.livejournal.com 2009-08-06 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
1. He's an orphan.
2. He sees his assistant Peter (yes, that's 1602 Spidey) as a son.
3. Despite the many people he's killed, he'll never enjoy it.
4. He does, however, enjoy being feared by his enemies.
5. He used to spend quite a bit of time in his garden; he likes roses.
6. He occasionally performed in masques, which were masked plays popular in Elizabethan court. The men and women of court would perform them, and there was singing and dancing involved.
7. He only did it because Elizabeth insisted.
8. He's a better singer than he'd care to admit.
9. He took over Roanoake Colony and declared it independant of England. That's right, in his own world, Fury is the founder of America.
10. He dislikes hawking. [Fun bonus super!head-canon: On the rare occasions he's invited on such a trip, he has a tamed leatherwing (read: smallish pterodactyl) that he brings along rather than a falcon or hawk.]

He betrayed England for you, so you'd better grow up well. >[

Oh, and btw? You're a mutant safe haven now, hope that's okay.

hahaaaa, well everyone does that eventually.

Oh yeah that's cool. Super powers are awesome, man.

GLaDOS

[personal profile] doingscience 2009-08-06 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
1. She was originally designed as a de-icer. GJ, Aperture.
2. Most of the crazy things she does are just to get attention.
3. Her biggest fear in life is being contolled.
4. Second to that is being alone.
5. GLaDOS considers Chell her first major success.
6. She is jealous of the companion cube, because everyone seems to automatically love it.
7. Contrary to popular belief, the cake is not a lie. She can make perfectly edible ones if she chooses. She just usually, well, doesn't.
8. Her fascination with fish is a bad attempt at a joke by one of her original programmers.
9. She hates being shown up.
10. Since she has no cameras outside the Enrichment center, she only knows about Nautilus what she sees on the Network.
redwhitensnark: (Guardian of and with the Magnus Hammer)

Ratchet ...mix of canon and headcanon.

[personal profile] redwhitensnark 2009-08-06 12:10 pm (UTC)(link)
1) Ratchet is, to a degree, in love with Arcee. The only problem is he realizes that love may be based on a few million stellar cycles of obsession, thanks to her memory dominating his life and being a big part of the reason he left Cybertron and joined a space bridge repair crew.
2) He's older than the Great War and was brought online not long before it actually began.
3) He was a trouble maker as a youth, eventually learning to knuckle down and take his studies seriously.
4) Studied and graduated from the Protihex Mechanics Medical University.
5) Ratchet was and still is one of Cybertron's greatest medical minds.
6) The reason he stuck to the "Autobots aren't meant to fly" notion for the longest time is because he took a bad fall while attempting Jet Judo in his early University days.
7) Though he does tend towards serious and cranky a fair portion of the time, Ratchet actually does enjoy a good joke and likes to play. Teasing is often how he demonstrates affection.
8) Ratchet is NOT a big fan of the Autobot Council or of Ultra Magnus. He believes they are ultimately better than 'Con rule, but he doesn't appreciate how they handled Omega Supreme. Or the fact that Mangus could never seem to call Arcee by name after her memory core was wiped.
9) Ratchet's encounter with Oil Slick during the Great War is where his cynical side really started to take root.
10) Originally, Ratchet was a civilian medic. He was drafted to the war effort when the Autobot Army came up short on field techs. His talent, dedication and success as a physician eventually landed him under near direct command of Ultra Magnus.
