Okay so here's the deal. I'm bored, and want to write down some things I need to remember about my characters. But why post these where no one will see, I asked myself. So.

1. He was originally Thomas Kertath, a Royal Scholar in Tokara.
2. Thomas Kertath was engaged to one Elizabeth Mercery
3. His face was stolen by a race of mechanical golems he invented - yes, the Jin you know and recognize is not the face he was born with
4. His face being stolen resulted in him first entering the Labyrinth
5. He met (an) Aaron on his journey through the Labyrinth
6. His pocketwatch (that if you attempt to take you will DIE) not only tells him time, it tells him date, how many days he has left until he dies, and where his bonded Deva is at all times.
7. he reads every single post ever, including the locked ones.
8. His specialty lies in undoing - give him a puzzle, lock, clue, seal, mystery, anything, and he'll undo it.

JAMES SUNDERLAND

1. James actually smothered his wife to death because he resented her for wasting his life.
2. James also killed his wife because he wanted to end her suffering.
3. Pyramid Head, is not actually a simple punisher, but the representation of James' sexual repression and violent urges.
4. He actually believes that he is dead and Nautilus is the afterlife.
5. Relatedly, James' comment about Ratchet looking like an overgrown cherub is not far from what he actually thinks of the Docbot.
6. James no longer keeps track of the day/date/time.
7. He rarely eats anything anymore, due to the lack of hunger in Nautilus. Even twinkies.
8. He now prefers the hood of a car to a bed.
9. He'd rather practice his medical studies than be forced to socialize.
10. Despite his chosen profession in Nautilus, his dwelling and his choice in company... James despises doctors and medical staff deeply.

OPTIMUS PRIME

1. He can be horribly nervous and insecure, but is quite apt at keeping it to himself.
2. His hobby is reading non-fiction. He could spend all day on Wikipedia
3. He is insatiably curious, and will immediately look up a term he doesn't know - often to his chagrin
4. He kinda likes being human, but would never want to be STUCK that way.
5. he has no idea why people look up to him, but thinks its cool that they do
6. life goal = be as compassionate, respected and worthy as Depth Charge/Dead End/Shockwave's (read, G1) Prime
7. Spiders still freak him out, even though he has a crush on one.
8. He has a humongous naughty streak. The only reason he doesn't let it out more is because of his sense of responsibility, and that he's trying to set a good example.
9. If he had time to watch them, he would probably really like Soap Operas.
10. Everyone that lives with him for more than a few weeks gets unofficially adopted. Wendy, Axel, Roxas... you're now part of Dadbot's family.

STARSCREAM

1. Starscream only recharges when he absolutely has to, and highly dislikes it.
2. There is nothing he fears more than the Labyrinth (amongst the many things he fears).
3. He is not, in fact, gay for anyone. Though the implications still infuriate him.
4. Kyd Wykkyd was actually his very first real friend.
5. His bond to Mare run a lot deeper than he cares to let on, which is why he's often seen berating her.
6. He is afraid of falling in love; he doesn't want drills.
7. He is also afraid that if he gets to know Megatron on a more personal level, he might start respecting him. Hatred is a nice comfort zone.
8. He actually believes that Chuck Norris doesn't actually write books, the words assemble themselves out of fear. Thanks, Alex.
9. He really loved the movie 'Top Gun', save for all those slaggin' homosexuals.
10. His ambitions are turning toward the goal of becoming a Deva and creating worlds to worship him. GJ.

BLITZWING

So much of this is headcanon. >.>

1) He doesn't care about the Decepticon cause.
2) He needs someone to hang around. Leave him by himself for too long and he goes even crazier.
3) He was created specifically for war. Fighting is pretty much all he knows.
4) He was institutionalized.
5) He didn't always take pleasure in killing.
6) He does now. A lot of pleasure.
7) When faced with pain or confusion, he either lashes out (Hothead) or distances himself from it entirely (Random).
8) It's very rare that he can fully agree with himself on something.
9) He believes that any emotional connection will eventually be used against him.
10) Megatron will always terrify him.

ROXAS

1. Despite lacking a heart, Roxas possesses empathy -- something Nobodies lack.
2. He picked up skateboarding in DiZ's virtual Twilight Town (though at the time, he believed that he had always been doing it) and has a talent for it.
3. He is unarguably Sora's "smarter" half; he's much more practical and doesn't tend to trust others as openly as his Other does.
4. On that topic, he holds no contempt for Sora or the roles assigned to them. Their mental struggle coupled with all the events he's witnessed through Sora's eyes has given Roxas a deep sense of respect for his Other.
5. His favorite food is ice cream, specifically the sea-salt variety.
7. highlight for spoilers [Though he has no memory of it, his ability to duel wield is a result of Xion's absorption at his hands.]
8. He's getting reacquainted to the idea of having friends again. Though he doesn't want to admit it, staying in Nautilus is making him enjoy an independent physical existence.
9. Like Sora, he has something of a fondness for pirates.
10. He's competitive. Give him a contest centered around something he's good at and he'll be drawn to it.

Rion Steiner

PYRAMID HEAD

1) He regards those who live in Repo Manor (Nathan, Sally, Leslie) as his property.
2) He defends his property.
3) Although he has difficulty forming words, he understands a good deal of what's said to him.
4) His purpose is not to specifically kill James.
5) He would be unaffected by the Labyrinth.
6) His helmet is physically attached to his head.
7) Yes, there is a face under it.
8) He usually keeps the Nightmares dismissed.
9) When he Bends, he simply decides that things are a certain way, and they obey. There's no real thought process.
10) The cameras and screens he uses to communicate don't physically exist.

SQUALL LEONHART

1) He prefers silence to any sort of music.
2) Most of his memories of childhood were lost, and he feels extremely detached from those that he's regained.
3) He thinks that he died in his own world.
4) He's not sure if his world even exists anymore.
5) He's terrified of abandonment, and avoids developing relationships as a result.
6) He reads and records every single unlocked post and comment.
7) He's at his most powerful when he's injured or near death. (Limit breaks. What are you.)
8) When Starscream asked Squall to join him during his takeover, Squall was briefly tempted.
9) He's very good at a number of seemingly random and very social things (dancing, for example), but hates doing them.
10) Most of his life was spent training to be a mercenary.

SWEENEY TODD

1. Sweeney suffers from bipolar disorder, characterized by periods of severe depression alternating with periods of mania.
2. He has an irrational, almost hysterical, fear of dogs.
3. Aside from the obvious anger that fueled his motive for murdering innocents as he bided his time for Turpin, Sweeney's other reason was based purely on the nihilistic view that everyone deserves to die. He truly believes that by killing indiscriminately, he was doing the right thing by punishing the corrupt and saving the downtrodden from their miserable lives.
4. He's smart, but his is a sly sort of intelligence. He can often come across as completely dense, and it's hard to tell if it's simply an act or if he's genuinely oblivious.
5. Contrary to what one may think, he never ate any of Mrs. Lovett's meat pies after they began their "partnership". He only eats when absolutely necessary, and even then, he takes no pleasure in it.
6. He has a multitude of scars on his back, all souvenirs from his short-lived sentence in Australia.
7. Whether or not he realizes it, he's actually very musical. He can whistle very well and possesses the capacity to sing.
8. He has a fondness for baubles and trinkets.
9. Had it not have been for the series of interruptions following Turpin's death, Sweeney would have eventually taken his own life.
10. Is asexual, for all intensive purposes. Any love that isn't with Lucy is baseless and, as such, useless.

AXEL

1) Hardly a secret, but Roxas is unquestionably the most important thing in Axel's life.
2) Most of his actions are motivated by selfish reasons.
3) He'll form "friendships" and "alliances" with all sorts.
4) He won't hesitate to stab someone in the back. Literally.
5) He sees no problem with manipulating people to get what he wants and/or needs.
6) His hair is naturally that spiky.
7) He very rarely eats or drinks.
8) As his element is fire, he isn't too fond of ice or water.
9) Don't try to burn him. He'll just laugh at you.
10) Until he gets more of his power back, or he's sure that Roxas can protect himself, Axel has no intention of moving out of Optimus' house.

PANDORA

Okay, gonna try to do this without spoiling book stuff, on the off chance Path ever gets published. =p

1. Pandora's never really made the connection between having children and love. As long as she can remember, her parents were separated. She assumes that human relationships are as in the wild, based largely on species fitness, rather than two people in love wanting to start a family. Her only exposure to romantic love is through old movies. She wouldn't recognize the fact she was developing feelings for someone as much more than "feeling awkward" around them.
2. On the same note, Pandora doesn't realize there are any other reasons for people to have, er, relations, other than to bear young. She's quite naive on this front.
3. Her favorite book is Watership Down. She can quote good chunks of the book from memory.
4. Her most cherished possessions are an old wooden ring given to her by her mother, which she keeps hidden at all times, and the last letter she received from her "pen pal", a young Emejre under her mother's care at the SPIA facility.
5. Pandora is a terrific student and skilled in any number of disciplines, and enjoys most of them. Her least favorite is biology, largely due to dissections. She can't stand harming a living thing, and she has a fairly weak stomach, as well.
6. She's not yet had soda, but when she does, look out. It's her favorite thing in the world. She treats carbonated beverages the way some people do wine.
7. She does not use contractions. Ever. She once overheard a scientist, in jest, say he thought contractions were a bastardization of the English language. And she's never used them, since.
8. On a related note, Pandora doesn't get sarcasm all that well. Due to reading so many technical papers and text books, she tends to be very literal.
9. In addition to her science, her missionary father made her read certain passages from the Bible. Despite her father's cruel ways, she found comfort in them and is, in fact, quite religious. She does tend to view herself as something of an abomination, but hopes she will find forgiveness.
10. Pandora's mother was Irish, and her father was born in Mexico. Ironically, her father's family has bloodlines tied to the Batallón de San Patricio. This is significant to her rather unique nature... somehow. ^^

BATGIRL

1. Her parents are divorced, and her mother's not in the best of ways. There's also some friction between them due to how nasty the divorce got, and the toll it took on her father.
2. She's determined to one day change her super hero code name to "Batwoman".
3. She's a little self conscious about her height. Like a lot of gymnasts, she's short despite the fact she's older. This is part of the reason having Robin around is cool with her... she can call someone else "shrimp".
4. There is a little resentment, still, about the fact Batman hasn't revealed his secret identity to her. Despite that, she still really admires him, almost like a second father at times.
5. She was sorely tempted to become Catwoman's partner at one point, and there are still aspects of that life that appeal to her.
6. While she's fairly confident as Batgirl, she's a lot quieter without the mask. She's not tremendously shy, but she certainly enjoys the freedom that wearing a mask gives her.
7. One of Barbara's greatest hopes is to find a cure for Poison Ivy's current condition. She partially blames herself for not stopping Pam sooner. It's just as much a motivator for her new identity as her father's abduction was.
8. She's hard pressed to define her friendship with Pam, and it's one thing she rarely talks about.
9. Barbara isn't very popular in school. Her interests fluctuate too much, she tends to hang out with "outcasts", and not a lot of kids want to hang out with the commissioner's kid, since chances are good they'll get busted.
10. She's a closet nerd, who knows more than she'd care to admit about computers, and saw McG's Gobots movie thirteen times in theaters. (And yes, Gobots won the war in her universe.)

CAPTAIN BARBOSSA

1. He became Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea after he was cursed. Shortly before the infamous voyage to Isla de Muerta, Barbossa served as first mate under Jack Sparrow during a battle involving the Pirate Lords. The former Caspian Lord insulted both Barbossa's swordsmanship and sailing ability. He never forgot, and challenged the former lord to a duel, knowing full well he could not die.
2. He won't admit it to his crew, but the curse has made Barbossa consider the choices in his life to some degree. He plans to give control of the Pearl to one of his crew shortly after the curse is lifted, and wants to retire as a landed gentleman, perhaps somewhere off the coast of Spain.
3. Barbossa served on the East India vessel The Wicked Wench as a cabin boy before he joined a pirate crew. The Wench would later be renamed The Black Pearl by Jack Sparrow.
4. He's a talented piano player(META JOKE ALERT).
5. Despite the way he berates the pair, he actually has a soft spot for Ragetti and Pintel, Ragetti in particular, due to shared backgrounds. His faith in Ragetti gave him a trustworthy, and unlikely, guardian for his Piece o' Eight.
6. Barbossa roamed the seas in Singapore before joining the crew of the Black Pearl, and learned sword fighting techniques from Oriental masters.
7. He anonymously sends a portion of his plunder to his parents, brother and sister in Spain. Knowing his law abiding family would disapprove of his vocation, they also believe him to be dead.
8. One of his most prized possessions is the diary of Cortez. In addition to the potential solution to the Aztec Curse, it is filled with arcane lore of the seas and the locations of many treasures scattered across the former Spanish Empire.
9. In addition to its usual attacks, the cursed Black Pearl often attacks slaver ships, giving the ships to the former cargo.
10. Captain Barbossa found Jack(the monkey) on a supply stop at a lost island. This island may or may not have had both a Secret and a Curse, leading him to Escape from it.

RIP

Headcanoooon.

1. Rip isn't her birth name; she legally changed it.
2. If she ever gave them a chance, she would probably fall in love with the works of Rogers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. But since they are filthy Americans and Englishmen, she never will.
3. The real reason Derek the dog exists is because she hates being/living alone, after spending so many years in the close confines of an army.
4. She possesses a natural sympathy and understanding for those who have known war.
5. Her immediate attachment to Megatron is the result of a vulnerable uncertainty where she can't function or has difficulty in making decisions for herself; she'll always look for a respectable commanding officer because not doing so is a serious violation of her comfort zone. It's also the reason why she has trouble accepting the Angelii idea.
6. Her nightmares are typically those involving Alucard; an endless black void, red eyes staring back at her from all sides, feeling haunted and afraid.
7. Despite dying three times and clearly witnessing life after death, Rip is a firm atheist. Her reasoning is that if there was a God, then due to all the suffering in the world he'd have to be very much like the Major, and if he were like the Major, then there would be no life left, period.
8. Deep, deep, deep down, she loathes herself and the monster she knows she is.
9. After having a cheeseburger for the first time, it's a struggle and a half to get used to blood once more.
10. She knows she doesn't deserve happiness, but strives to claim it for herself anyway.

PYRALIS

1. Pyralis was actually born a redhead, but thanks to his curse his hair coats itself in gold.
2. He got over the whole curse deal with his father pretty quickly, but isn't too fond of him for other reasons- namely, the drinking too much and doing stupid things like telling Apollo that his music wasn't as good as Pan's.
3. He didn't used to mind being mistaken for a girl, but then his father started thinking he was gay.
4. Though he tends to be pretty clumsy, he's very good at fist-fighting.
5. He's terrified that one day he will accidentally turn a person to gold.
6. The reason he looks up to Jefferson so much is that he is very confident and didn't seem to be afraid to make harder decisions, which are both qualities that Pyralis lacks. He misses talking to him, even if he almost always made a fool of himself doing so.
7. He still misses Kit and Sidian, as well as his friends back home, but he doesn't talk about them because he feels like that would jinx them ever coming back.
8. I could only see him actually being gay under one circumstance, but his father thinks he is because a.) he's a musician, b.) he won't cut his hair, and c.) he worships Apollo (who is considered the 'ideal lover of boys,' I am not making this up).
9. He doesn't like math because he sees no practical use for it beyond basic arithmetic, and that's when it stops being easy.
10. If he was more confident in what he says, he could actually be a decent leader figure. The likelihood of this ever happening is slim, but this IS Nautilus so who knows.

JOSHUA

1. Joshua's way older than he looks.
2. He loves any and all games, especially when there's risk involved.
3. If he hadn't grown at least a little attached to Neku during the Game, Shibuya would have been destroyed.
4. He is well aware that some of what he does creeps people out, and that only encourages him to do it more.
5. He does work to help people discover things about themselves and work past them- only he does it by taunting and pushing them rather than letting them do it themselves.
6. Lapin Angelique does look awfully good on him.
7. He is not actually gay- he focuses more on personality (though it has been a while since he's even had to worry about that).
8. He's a very good shot.
9. He cares about a very small group of people, and most of them probably would think he doesn't care because it's kind of in his nature to be a jerk.
10. Touch his cellphone and die.

DEMYX

1. The thing he misses most about having a heart is being able to hear and play with emotion in music.
2. He doesn't think he could ever go back to how he was before, even if he did get his heart back.
3. Demyx is obnoxiously loyal- once he's joined a cause, he's committed to it until the end, and doesn't think highly of those who quit.
4. He wishes he could understand Axel and Roxas's friendship.
5. His Other was a middle child.
6. Even though he's described in game as a poor fighter, he's really not. He just doesn't like to and thinks of himself as a failure in that particular area.
7. The reason he acts so happy is because that's easier for him to emulate. His other rarely acted anything other than optimistic.
8. He wants to actually be friends with some of the people he's met in Nautilus, but he doesn't know how.
9. Once you push enough buttons, Demyx stops being happy-go-lucky and will turn more confident in his abilities, as well as do his damn best to stay alive.
10. Even though he knows he probably won't be able to go back home, he still really, really wants his heart back.

LESLIE

1. All the things he said while during the time shift about being horrifically abused was a complete fabrication.
2. While Leslie can be very friendly towards a great number of people, he won't really consider any of them "friends" unless they know what it's like to kill a person.
3. Leslie can get frustrated when people completely miss the point of what he does, but he only ever gets truly angry when those same people make a conscious effort to screw with his life.
4. He is fondly looking forward to the day he will be defeated/die.
5. He thinks Mr. Rogers is super awesome.
6. Leslie keeps in touch with many infamous slasher villains, asking for advice and keeping a journal of their replies.
7. He watches over-the-top horror films like the rest of us watch documentaries.
8. Some things may upset him, but practically nothing scares him.
9. He's very careful about what he eats; three well-balanced meals a day, and stays in top physical form.
10. He never lets anyone see him sleeping.

NATHAN WALLACE

1. He does not suffer from D.I.D.; his issue isn't a personality problem, but he is pretty damned crazy.
2. At first, he hated his Repo life, but over seventeen years, has come to actually really, really like killin' folk and collecting organs. In Nautilus, it is not a hobby for him.
3. He uses a bit of pork in his hamburgers. That's why they kinda taste funny.
4. He's actually pretty good at making salads.
5. He dislikes coffee.
6. Nathan. Loves. Juice boxes. He has a fridge filled with juice boxes at Repo Manor.
7. The reason why he considers Pyramid Head a friend is somewhat complicated; it is not a friend he can personally rely on, but rather he feels it is necessary to finely tune PH's abilities and make him into something more than just a mere beast as many view Pyramid Head.
8. He knows what James did. He does not want James to find out.
9. Nathan plans on making a better world in Nautilus. FOR THE KIDS.
10. He is a bit terrified of the idea of Shilo and/or Marni showing up, because he has accepted that he is both Nathan and Repo Man -- something he doubts either of his precious family members could or would understand.

Ok so I literally just finished watching Repo, and felt really bad for him the whole movie. :(

WRECK-GAR

1. His mentality is basically that of a small child; his development in Nautilus is sort of based on lessons of growing up and accepting that things are not always sunshine and cheer.
2. Wreck-Gar believes everything he's ever read on the internet.
3. He wants to hurt Blitzwing. He has no idea what to do with this feeling and is kind of terrified of it.
4. Wasp is his BEST FRIEND EVER. As such, he wishes he could make the little guy happier.
5. Ratchet is his favorite person, and takes his advise to spark.
6. And yes, he has a spark! Separate from the All Spark.
7. The All Spark fragment he carries lets him perform only defensive/healing purposes; he cannot use it offensively. However, Wreck-Gar is completely unaware of all its capabilities so IT DOESN'T MATTER.
8. He tries to live by Cyrus's example, by forgiving others.
9. WALL-E is his favorite movie ever.
10. Ever since Blitzwing, Wreck-Gar does not want to fall in love and is a bit scared of it.

KYD WYKKYD

1. He loves pillow forts. They bring back good memories of the FIVE and make him feel safer.
2. His costume was indeed based off of Batman; even in the Academy, he quietly looked up to Batman for using a dark appearance in order to do justice.
3. For awhile, he kind of resented Robin and Raven; Robin for being (or having been) Batman's partner, and Raven for being what she was but still using her powers to fight crime. It made him feel kinda crappy. He's pretty okay with them now.
4. He has no idea which he is now: Hero or Bad Guy.
5. Wykkyd is actually capable of casting spells, but didn't really pay much attention in classes in order to perfect this ability.
6. He is something other than just a metahuman. But I'm a jerk and I don't plan on explaining anytime soon.
7. Megatron kind of terrifies him, hence why he doesn't really speak to him.
8. Blitzwing and Starscream ironically don't scare him so much; Blitzwing saved his life when he first got here, and Starscream he feels very close to even though he understands if Starscream does not want to acknowledge anything. Additionally, the reason why he's okay with Screamer and Blitzwing is that they're actually KIND OF SANE in comparison to the previous teachers/leaders Kyd Wykkyd's been with. Look at Brother Blood's mindrape and tell me that isn't true. :[
9. He used to have a big damned crush on Jinx for a long time. WHO DIDN'T IN THE ACADEMY. REALLY.
10. He's starting to accept the possibility of being comrades with Kid Flash.

SAIX

1. He and Axel used to be good friends. This is not something he cares to vocalize, much less how jealous he is of Roxas -- rather, if he COULD feel jealousy, he probably would be.
2. He honestly doesn't give a crap about the Organization or Xemnas; if anyone can offer his heart sooner/much better, he would follow them with extreme loyalty. His heart is his biggest motivation.
3. Wants to kill Axel as many times as possible.
4. Probably the same with Roxas.
5. YOU TOO LARXENE.
6. He doesn't have a temper. He can't have one. Saix instead relies on some more animal-like behavior, letting his instincts run their course.
7. He has a small weakness for sweets, primarily pastries.
8. BTW he's not a werewolf. :[
9. Violence/brutality is really the only way he feels any remote connection to feeling since it requires his energy. Hence it being his true nature.
10. The reason why he does not take kindly to traitors probably roots its way back to his former friendship with Axel.

1. He doesn't really care to get his heart back, because he knows what he did as Braig would leave him with unbearable guilt.
2. Yes, he does have a PhD in Physics.
3. Braig was married, but his wife left him when he became an apprentice to Ansem the Wise
4. He and Xaldin would routinely blow things up for shits and grins
5. Despite his laid-back nature, Xigbar is REALLY loyal to the Organization and Xemnas.
6. however, he thinks that humiliation is a much better punishment than death, hence the hats and so on
7. He lost his eye in one of Braig and Dilan's elaborate demolitions
8. The scar happened after he became a nobody
9. Those two things aside, the rest of him is relatively unmarred, save for his hands. Those are absolutely mangled
10. He can be just as pretentiously long-winded, verbose, and snobbishly intelligent as the other Original Six (specifically Xemnas, Vexen and Zexion) - he just prefers not to be.
