I gave up my voice to protect a secret that was never mine to protect in the first place, and spend my time trying to please a father who will never be satisfied.

The only man who has ever told me he loves me, and who is now my fiance, is a railway monster who bends the world to his will, and I'm not sure if that means he's changed me as well.
