"Hello, yes. I am Clef. A pleasure to meet the both of you." He was floating in a bubble shield that included dirt along the bottom that gave him a level surface upon which to stand. Which was good, because he was shorter than Phong. His staff, however, was a bit taller.

Being shorter than Phong was a feat, and he tilted his head.

"You don't look like you're more than 1.1, sorry."

"One point One?" he asked. "Is that a height measurement in your world?"

"No, not that. It a measurement of compiling among sprites."

"Compiling?" Yeah, go ahead, tell him he looks like he's younger than Enzo. I dare ya.

"Compiling. It's a measurement of data growth in a sprite or binome, or even a virus." said Bob. He wasn't sure how many versions Clef was.

"No, it's a measurement of growth. I guess we really are from different places."

"A measure of.... I'm 745 years ol.... 746 years old!" He adjusted. Wow, he had been here more than a year.

"Years? You measure by years?" said Bob, more surprised from the measurement than nanoseconds or whatever.

"Some by decades or centuries, I suppose."

That's longer than the life of a sprite that's for sure. You'd give Phong a run for his money.

"Yes, I've been told many times here," he said dryly. "I look like a child, but am older than most people here expect to ever live...." A bit of pain there. His son was so sure he wouldn't live to see more than three decades himself...

"It seems like it." said Bob. "You're living a much longer time than the few minutes I've experienced."

"Minutes?" Wow... this guy was.... young. Spoke very well for having been alive only a few minutes. Or did he mean just being in Nautilus?

"Oh, I've only been in Naut a little over a year. The rest of that time was in Ceiphro."

"Well, I guess things happen at different paces in different worlds, maybe that is why everyone always seems to be in such a rush, here."

"It's where I come from. Mainframe, a smaller system out in the Net."

"Well, I come from a system called the Super Computer actually, but Mainframe is where I process now. There's different systems, which can be accessed through the I/O ports and such."
