Hello, old friend. ;D Have someone who's died ... a lot.
Living in a dystopian city-state constantly at war will really skew a girl's perspectives, after all. She's used to tasteless rations and the occasional pilfered egg or sweet from the Breen military's personal stash, so. Hot dogs, whatever they are, sound delightful.
Helloooooo Aeon :3
So Death tried to give them all a little extra love. "No no no no no. It's definitely not dog meat. It's like, a mix of pork and beef, or there are the all beef hot dogs which I think are the better ones." Death grinned. "More kosher, you know? But any hot dog is delicious, especially with some mustard and some ketchup on it! We have to find them now, oh, you'll just love them!"
Let's make some fat pigeons!
The cloning process always left shadows of memories: by now, she knew that Trevor had been doing it for ages, bringing her back over and over because he couldn't stand to lose the game they'd been playing - or more specifically, to lose her. She just tried not to think about it too much. It distracted from the moment.
"If we've met, I forgot your name. I'm ... really sorry about that, pretty one."
She reaches up to touch Death's cheek as she says so.
Squee! Let's go
"We've met before, but don't worry about it too much, hun. No one ever remembers meeting me. And that's okay!" Says cheerfully. There wasn't much that got her down these days, always trying to cheer people up. She shook her head, black hair flying.
"I'm Death. You can call me Didi if you like that better, though. I've gone by so many different names over the years."
no subject
"It doesn't matter what I like better. If you're Death, that's what I'll call you."
It isn't as though she's afraid of her, after all. She smiles back, and ruffles her hair, just to see if it feels as fluffy as it looks.
"So where do we get a hot dog?"
no subject
So when she fluffed her hair, she let her for the moment before shaking her head to get the black locks back into place.
"Right! A hot dog! Okay, I'm not sure where we can get a hot dog just yet. I only just got here myself, too, so I'm still wandering around a little. I haven't seen any hot dog vendors around, though." Death pouted. "This place is nothing the cities I've seen before. No one is yelling or shouting or doing anything fun!"
Reaching out, she took Aeon by the hand and tugged her along. "We're going to find a restaurant or something. They'll have to have a hot dog there!"
no subject
She wasn't really familiar with restaurants, either - ah, the curses of living in a dystopia. There was a grocery with rows of vegetables in carts at the front, and she paused to look them over.
"What about here?"
