If the Storm Hawks were to use the same portal would they come through? Part of her knew that wouldn't be the case. She was here alone, for now. She turns to the city before her and begins walking. He tries to fly, to get above the treetops and get a better idea of where he is, but the wind doesn't come, not even when he yells. He pounds his staff on the ground in frustration, but nothing happens, no flash frosting of the earth beneath his bare feet. So he plops heavily down onto a nearby rock, and he sulks, drawing lines in the dirt with the end of his staff because that seems to be the only thing it's good for now. ]

Remaining cautious, she gathers herself up and begins to walk between the trees slowly. At least by the looks of the flora she is still on Earth somewhere. New Metropolis boasts several gardens after all.
