Magic Knight Rayearth | Ascot (Sorry I play him from the first half ^^')
"Did you hear me!? I'm talking to you".
With a huff, Ascot soon came up with a solution that drew a smirk to his lips. "I'll show you... it's time that I introduced this place to my friends anyway." Raising his hand aloft, he prepared to summon of his massive creatures. No one in Cephiro understood these beings, always calling them monsters, and being generally terrorized by them. Ascot couldn't stand people like that, but in this case he was looking forward to exacting some petty revenge for an innocent oversight. Only.... nothing came of his actions. No monster came forth... there he was just standing there in the middle of the road, completely defenseless and more importantly.. alone. The realization was slowly starting to sink in, and the prospect was crippling.
That's fine! Poor Ascot!
So before Ascot could notice him, He swung his staff and summoned Fluya. The flying fish was smaller than usual, the size of a large horse, but a familiar creature was a familiar creature. Clef sat on her back as she swam through the air to float in front of Ascot. Possibly the only time he could look down on anyone from home, physically. Especially since standing the two of them were about the same size.
"I suppose that you being here means that the Knights have one less challenge to face then." His face was hard set. "And you're not going to be able to summon your friends here, Ascot." And then the slightest softening. "They're fine, they're just not here."
His creatures are his life.. what's he gonna do now D:
Recoiling defensively as if he expected the master mage to launch some assault of his own, Ascot tried to maintain some illusion that he had any fight left in him.
"This is only a temporary setback! The Knights haven't seen the last of me," He boldly though shakily professed. How he wanted to argue with the next thing that Clef said. If Clef was able to summon a creature, why couldn't he? Knowing that his friends were fine would have been a comfort to him but he was unsure whether to believe one of his enemies or not.
Also..... wait a minute here," Shouldn't you be stone right now?"
Suffer. Like the rest of them.
As if to demonstrate this, he sent Fluya back into his staff and created a shimmering sheild around him, so he could float in the sphere at the same height, completely safe. Jane had taught him spherical shielding. He... He missed her. And Nash. Whatever he had to do, Ascot could not be allowed to go back to sleep as they had. He needed to be kept here.
He rested against his staff, as if there were level ground in his shield.
"the Knights will save the Pilliar from Zagato. But you? Ascot, you are going to tell me what in the world possessed you to betray the princess. Betray our whole world."
How was he going to keep Ascot away from Link?
Shadow. He'd get Shadow to help, Shadow would understand. So the harder part would be keeping Ascot away from Zelda...
No D:. He Refuses. /Like he has a choice
No. Choice. At. All.

He slowed Epona down and made her stop, not far from the newcomer.
"Hey. Are you okay?"

When it finally dawned on him that there was someone else there, he glanced at Link though it was hard to tell through those thick bangs of his and he replied with,"What are you looking at?!".

Link patted Epona's neck, sighing to himself.
"Just seeing if you're lost. Part of my job with the Task Force is to help new people."

"Having a problem there, kid?" he asked, looking up at him.
The cat came back 8D
When he looked to the source of the voice he had to do a double take. "Hey.... who said that?!" Looking to either side, all he saw was the cat.

Yes..... that kind of pain. It called to him. The portal opened, deep in his lair. A hand raised, caught a pale butterfly. He infused it with his power, then sent it to the window. It vanished. And reappeared from behind the local bar, flying towards Ascot. It landed on his hat from behind, opening a line of psychic communication.
"You miss your friends, and this world has stripped them from you. The last world no one understood them. But I understand them, and you. I am Papillon. I can give you the power you crave, turn the people that would hate your friends, even here, into them. All I ask for in return is one small favour when the time comes...."

"How do you know so much about them?" Or Cephiro for that matter. If this wasn't Cephiro then how could this stranger know a thing about it?
To be honest, this deal wasn't much different than the one he was already in with Zagato. "What's the favor...?"

Which sadly is an end cause it's a TDM and not a chance to drag others in T.T
Page stretch warning, mostly the same start as with Hikaru.
The orange creature ran past her, skidded to a stop, doubled back, and came up to sniff him, curiously. It was some sort of weasel with six short stubby legs, bolts in its neck, and far too many teeth. The pause gave the redheaded woman chasing it a chance to catch up.
"If I find out that you're doing this to help with my training," she gasped, swooping in to swipe it up. Panting, she looked up to Ascot, holding the creature around it's middle. "Sorry about that..." Aww, he was a cute little kid. If not for the hat, she'd want to ruffle his hair.

"You better watch it... I doubt the people here will want you around". He was just about to try and befriend the strange animal when the red head butt in.
Oh great. It already had an owner. Whatever. Folding his arms across his chest he tried to appear disinterested. There was enough on his plate already without some annoying girl bugging him. "Sorry about what. He didn't do anything."

Kid. A new kid. Just. Freaking. Great.
"Look. Kid. Go that way," she pointed. "Big blue box. Ask for the Doctor. Tell him..." she smirked. "Tell him Rose Tyler sent you."

Ascot crinkled his nose up at the notion of being given orders by some stranger. "The name's not kid and you can't tell me what to do." Spoken like a true brat.
"Tell 'em yourself." Even if it was a lie. Part of him almost wished he was in on the joke. He wasn't above causing a little mischief for others.

"And if I told them myself, they'd know I was lying. And I'd have to actually interact with them. Where's the fun in that?"

She is such a jerk, I am so sorry.
Takes one to know one 8D. Ascot can be too
He can be!
Here, have a Young!Zelda
"People who say things like 'I'll show you,' are usually being mean. Is that what you want to be?"
Excellent! I'll take one!
"I don't need a lecture." He huffed, half tempted to shove her but that just seemed pathetic. What he needed was his magic. "What are you supposed to be anyway?"
no subject
She wasn't trying to be particularly intimidating, actually. She didn't need to be, and usually didn't think much of it one way or another. But his attitude was off-putting, and she wasn't going to hide her response.
"My name's Zelda, and I was going to help you. But if you're just going to be nasty, maybe I shouldn't."

Think you met Kaylin in RC. JIC reminder - Trigger warnings like whoa.
"Hey, you'll be okay," she said quietly. "I get it. this place is **** but at least you're not alone. I'm Kaylin Neya. I'm a Hawk at home and on the Task Force here. So it's my job to help you out, okay? What's your name?"
She was in a chainmail shirt under a tunic and over a short sleeved leather shirt which was over a long sleeved shirt with buttons and the sleeves. She wore long leather pants undr and heavy boots. At her waist was a thick belt with a dagger on either hip and some generic necessities like a night stick and other such hanging from it. Her ragged hair was pulled up messily and held in place with a stick. On her face was a mark like a tattoo of nightshade, and on her wrist was a VERY expensive looking bracelet of antique gold, inset with three gems.
I did! Briefly :3
"I am alone". His friends had mysteriously abandoned him in a strange land. What he would have given to see them or even
Caldina. She was like an older sister to him, one of the only people who ever had expressed a genuine concern for his well-being. Crestfallen, he wished he could just hp on a floating rock and make a hasty retreat to get some time to himself to figure this all out... but that was not to be."Kay-line-ya...?" He repeated it back because it sounded just too ridiculous for words. "What sort of a name is that?" He didn't want to talk. He really didn't but talking at least could help push some of his darker emotions aside, even if it was only temporary. "Ascot... and I'm not looking to be anyone's special project." The rude edge to his voice was a clear defensive mechanism. "Just tell me where this place is and the quickest route out of here..."
Cool
"This place is called Nautilus. If you have legends in your world about Ravellon, or the heart of Chaos and Shadows... this is it." And she hates it here, which is clear on her face. "And if I knew a way home that actually WORKED, I'd be long gone."
